The Mountbatten Lounge at our Kandy city hotel is a place to relax and let your hair down no matter what time of the day it is. Open 24/7 for your benefit, we wanted to give our guests a chilled out location to unwind with friends, get some work done in an informal atmosphere, or sneak down for a midnight snack. It’s also a great place to relax and watch sporting events – we’ve got the large televisions, the pitchers of beer, and the comfort food to go with it! Burgers, pizzas, steak, French fries – we’re giving your favourite pub treats a makeover.

Innovative cocktails, a wide range selection of local and imported beers, wines, and hard liquor, and a laid back atmosphere to bring it all together – the Mountbatten Bar blends and mixes are award-winning.

The lounge is named after Lord Mountbatten, a British statesman and naval officer, who presented the city of Kandy with the Japanese field gun which can be found at the Royal Palace Park overlooking Kandy Lake.

Snacks are served from 08.00 AM – 12.00 mid night
